The Battalion Command Team commands the entire Thomas A. Edison JROTC Battalion and its subordinating organizations and teams.
Battalion Commander

The Battalion Commander is responsible for everything that the Battalion does or fails to do. The commander directs subordinate units through the Company Commander and the staff through the Executive Officer. Specific duties are: Command the Battalion at appropriate formations, such as parades and ceremonies.
Battalion Executive Officer
Cadet Natanel Shalamov
The Battalion Executive Officer (XO) is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a battalion and is usually one rank below the BN commander. Their duties include Operation, Staff Actions, Training, Administrative Duties, Social Events and assume command in absence of BN commander.
Battalion Command Sergeant Major
Cadet Mohammed Rahman
The Battalion Command Sergeant Major is the highest ranking enlisted in the unit. The BN CSM helps train and counsel Cadets regarding attitude, appearance, military courtesy, and discipline. Reports serious cases to the Battalion Commander. Supervises the Color Guard to maintain the highest standards of appearance.

The Battalion Staff Section support the administrative functions of the Battalion and its subordinating organizations and teams.
Battalion S-1 Human Resource Officer

The BN S-1 Human Resource Officer is the Human Resource and Administration Officer that handles the information of all cadets' human resources including personnel readiness, personnel services and headquarters management.
Battalion S-2 Intelligence Officer

The Battalion S-2 Intelligence Officer is the Intelligence and Security Officer. S2 is the primary advisor to the BN commander on intelligence and security. They must be up to date on latest New and Current Affairs.
Battalion S-3 Operations Officer

The BN S-3, Operation and Training Officer, is the primary staff officer responsible for trainings and operations in the Battalion. The duty includes Training, Operation, Plans, Events, and Meetings.
Battalion S-4 Logistical Officer
Cadet Jaskaran Singh
Battalion S4 Logistical Officer is the primary Logistical and Supply officer of the Battalion. The duty includes all matters concerning supply, equipment, budget, and resourcing. Responsible for coordinating and resourcing for training and events within the battalion.
Battalion S-5 Public Affairs Officer
Cadet Melvis Lei
The BN S5 Public Affairs officer acts as the contact between the Cadets and all news media and student publications. They publicize activities of the Army JROTC program to create an outstanding image of the cadet battalion and to reinforce the image of the school.
Battalion S-6 Cyber and Signal Officer

The BN S6 Information Officer is responsible for Communications, Information Technology, and Automations. They also advise the commander and staff on digital communications and develop policies and procedures for the Battalion.
Battalion S-7 Special Project Officer

Battalion S7 Special Project Officer is responsible for overseeing high priority Initiatives or project that falls outside of routine Operations. The duty includes all matters concerning to the special project to ensure its completion on time and aligned with organization's goals and missions.
Battalion S-8 Finance Management Officer

The BN S8 Financial Management officer acts as the chief accountant of the Battalion operating funds. The duty includes directing and overseeing all the fiscal operations to ensure accurate accounting, budgeting, fund raising, and resource management in support of BN Missions.
Battalion S-9 Liaison Officer

The BN S9 Liaison Officer is responsible for coordinating communications and Information exchange between different JROTC units and other organizations that regularly work with the BN. The position serves as primary point of contact from outside of our battalion.
